Sparzanza
Hey Shep, glad you could drop by. The measurements when assembled is 465 mm's long, and 574 mm's wide. (source: http://www.jumbliesmodels.com/plastic-kits-c3/aviation-kits-c4/airfix-junkers-ju-87b-stuka-1-24-scale-plastic-kit-p1291 ) Thinking of getting one? I can give you some pointers for the tricky parts. Edited May 6, 2013 by Snussugen
Sparzanza
I'm loving what Humbrol 49 does to the overall looks and makes the decal "blend in". Yes, I brushpainted the entire wing with it.. and it looks magnificent.
shepard
Your work is fantastic my friend... im tempted, have to admit... but i will stay in1/32... i think....
Sparzanza
No harm in building a 1:24 kit. It will make a nice addition to the ceiling/shelves. Mine will be able to do both. I made the spinner, and all cowlings removable, as well as the gun access thingies on the wings.. removable 500 kilo bomb and crew as well. Both canopy windows able to slide back and forth.. you'll be able to change the display of it every day should you so wish. Plus it is super detailed, I doubt much scratch building is necessary if you're a super detail freak. Give it a shot! Perhaps it'll be a nice relaxing build after that hardcore Arado you're building? Sparzanza
That´s a good looking bird i wonder what´s next! Haha. It was going to be a 1/24 Airfix Messerschmitt BF109E. Then you offered me something different for an affordable sum, so I'll surprise the LSP:ers by the time the Stuka is complete!

Sparzanza
Thanks Maru! More updating, I haven't been slacking! It's beginning to look a lot like Stuuuuuka... BUT! Not done yet. There's a couple of paint touchups to do, and glue 2x items on.
Sparzanza
Basically both footsteps fell off due to carelessness and excessive manhandling. But they both kept their plop on top, and the hole(s) remain in the fuselage.. so they'll be the last things to glue on. Sparzanza
Thanks for your comments, Shep & Kev! I have a couple of days more work by doing all the panel lines with a regular pencil recommended by my friend Boris. It gives a weird shine, but that's what Humbrol 49 is for. I don't have to do washes or anything. Pencils are good.
