Help with A-4E/F Adversary colors

Hello

 

 

Fuselage and wings are mated so its time to put some paint on it..

But having trouble with color conversion, me and jets are not well together

I need Model Master or Humbrol colors

 

Hasegawa give these Mr.colours in their paint scheme

 

1. No.19(95%)+1(5%) sandy brown+white

GU GC019

Mr.COLOR C-19 SEMI-GLOSS SANDY BROWN(German Airforce)

2. No.22 - dark earth

GU GC022

Mr.COLOR C-22 SEMI-GLOSS DARK EARTH(RAF Camofrage)

3. No.309 - green fs34079

GU GC309

Mr.COLOR 309 GREEN FS34079

 

Totaly confused...british and german WWII colors on american jet ????how crazy is that

 

 

I tried some of the colour convertors but none gave mr the same results. !!!Here are paint schemes, same colours for both maschines

Two Bobs sheet, "A-4E Top Gun Tinker Toys" lists the colors slightly different:

 

Tan F.S.20400 - M/M 2021; or 3x Hu63 + 3x Hu118 + 3x Hu34 + 2x Hu121

Green F.S.34079 - M/M 1710; or Hu07

Brown F.S.30117 - M/M 1701; or Hu186

 

Hope that doesn't muddy it up for you!

Seems to me that the brown is the main problem since the other two colors are same in almost every other source.

Also i find that brown FS30219 Dark Tan color could be a faded Brown Special (F.S.30140).

 

Well i think i will go with this...

Tan F.S.20400 - M/M 2021; or 3x Hu63 + 3x Hu118 + 3x Hu34 + 2x Hu121

Green F.S.34079 - M/M 1710; or Hu07

Brown F.S.30117 - M/M 1701; or Hu186

since they are listed as skyhawk colors...
