LSP_Matt
I've tried to find a picture of the barrel I saw on a MG mounted on a Humvee. Darn it can't find. Instead of your typical .50 Cal it had fins running lengthwise down the side of the barrel. It almost looked a little Sci Fi. Does anyone know what this is or what its about? It didn't look like a rotary version of MaDuce, just a strange looking barrel. I've noticed things like the XM806 and XM218, various flash suppressors or muzzle brakes but can't find any info on this seemingly new barrel type. Any info appreciated.. Dave Williams
Are you talking about the Blank Firing Adapter (BFA)? http://www.armorama.com/modules.php?op=modload&name=SquawkBox&file=index&req=viewtopic&topic_id=160539
LSP_Matt
Are you talking about the Blank Firing Adapter (BFA)? Thanks Dave you're a champ. I reckon that's exactly it. Big BFA! I saw it kinda end on in a doco I think and wondered what the hell it was. We have .50cal in the Army over here but only I think in the M113 Light Armd Recon Troops. None for me to play with ...unless I apply to transfer to the Navy. Cheers Matty
