CPNGROATS Posted May 16, 2008 Share Posted May 16, 2008 Texas: Thanks, this kit was an original Spitsfire issue circa early 1970's. Finished in the 1980's using Humbrol and Pactra enamals. Kit and other sourced dcals were used. Future wax was used during decal application and to coat the canopy. Last year, during my Messaschnitzel build I added brake lines, wing lights, and some scuff marks on the wing roots to this Spitsfire. Currently they share a display case.
