Scotsman Posted October 19, 2006 Share Posted October 19, 2006 I used the Lonestar set a couple of years ago , when it was , I think, the only game in town for the P-40 , It really is pretty good , correct depthof sidewalls , curved fusalage floor , the seat is a US pattern , with only lapstraps , so if your planning an RAF aircraft , you''ve got some additional work to do , IP was resin only , and not that much of an improvement over the kit one . It sort of remined me of one of the early BB pits - And thanks to UK/US exchange rates I got it for less than £10 I would recommend it to those who lack the ability to scratchbuild sucessfully, (i.e ME!)
