  1. Looking fantastic Brian, with the quality of all these models being displayed in this forum, I'm going to have to buy a dictionary to dig up some more superlatives. Keep up the work. Russ
  2. Definately an article, all those fab pictures of great work in one place.
  3. Looks superb to me, I can still only dream of a finished item, that good. There are so many inspiring models within these forums and this is another. I look forward to following your next project. Hopefully one that will bring some joy for you at the end! Russ
  4. Chris, I have an old magazine, which has an article on the AVG and specifically the du-pont colours used. If you e-mail me your address I can post it to you. I seem to remember they printed what was believed to be the closest FS numbers, but also talks about the original colours underneath etc . Russell
  5. That's looking just great Chris, I like the look the alclad steel pre-shadin gives under the camouflage coat, I'm just starting my A-8, might have to copy this from you. Top work though. Russ
  6. I used to exclusively model cars before crossing over to planes, the most damn hard thing to achive was those blasted mirror shine finishes. Anyway if you go to www.italianhorses.net and click on instructions there is a how to artice that Alex Kustov uses to obtain really good finishes. I followed his instructions in a black Porsche 356 and man dod that come out well. Russ
