  1. After many years the B17 is still unfinished (70% done) ..Unfortunatelly I haven't enough time, but i hope next year will be finished. For some reason I can't see the photos I've posted and I didn't saved them... does anyone have them? Many thanks! Roberto from Switzerland

  5. Thank you very much. Last saturday there was a big air show here in Switzerland and I had the chance and the priviledge to enter inside the B17 Sally B (the one used for the movie "Memphis Belle" and the only flying B17 in Europe). Here are the pictures I took of the plane. PS: its a B17G modified for the movie Memphis Belle to look like an older one... Also thank you for the colour advice, I will make it look weathered with faeded colour and some patches here and there
  6. Hello, i'm back, i've been in holidays for some weeks... Here are my latest updates. Feel free to comment I also have a big problem: do you know which tamiya colour to use for the exterior? Olive green or olive drab? Olive drab looks too dark... And which neutral grey? Many thanks!
  7. Hello everyboby, finally i've glued the compartments into the fuselage...didn't fit at first and i had to struggle quite a lot... now srating to work on the waist and tail I'll try to upload HD quality photos..
  8. Thank you again for your great comments and for your support! The photo etched parts are from Eduards, seatbelts and wood decals are from HGW. I was also thinking about adding a little wash for the walls...but i'm not very familiar with the wash (i was lucky with the bombs..almost done a disaster). The paint is not gloss but is matte and I'm worried it will wash away the background colour.. I prefer a dry brush weathering, looks more like the real interior weathering of dust.. For the exterior I'm planning to use a lot of wash
  9. Hello modellers, I finally made some more progress on the nose compartment..still a work in progress, missing more details...hope to have new photos next week end enjoy
