  1. I just got the package a few minutes ago . Willi
  2. Well just tracked my order and it is being held for clearance .Probably some where on the west coast / 1:22Pm 11-29-12 . Willi
  3. Thanks Alot Guy`s , I`m glad you like this A/C .It has gotten me interested again into WW1 A/C. I probably added over one thousand peices to this plane .Just the engine alone has 300 parts added most of which can`t be seen . So I cant wait to start work on those WNW 1/32nd engines . Dave the thing on top of the wing is a water tank for the engine . I thought it looked better then the gun . There`s plenty of photo`s of this plane but in Polish Service from the 1920 war with Ukraine , Thanks again for all your interest , Willi
  4. I just mentioned a group build of Fokker DVII `s on a post I just made on another topic. So I`m in on this one , Willi
  5. Well this is cool! I just tracked my order and it left NZ tomorrow morning at 8:50AM 28-11-12 . Cant wait to start the seiben swabian build ! Is there a plan to have a Group Build of Fokker DVII`s ? Willi
  6. Those are nice Mistle I just have two in 148th and a1/72 Arado 234 C with E-377 bomb (mistel 6) built .I still have the two 48 Special Models to build ,one with the Me 262 and one with the Arado in 1/48th . I wish I had the room for those big 1/32nd scale projects ! All the cool detail you can add . Willi
  7. Hi Bob The center wheel was released by an explosive bolt charge, most mistels where one time use . Do you also have the external fuel tank with the fins for the Ju 88 that went under the left wing ?The same type carried by the Bf110 D.I think it was a 300liter tank. Willi
  8. Just ordered two kits and 1 decal sheet. Starting cyber Monday on a great start ! Willi
  9. Hi Bob, The color plate is correct .The plane is based on a JU88G10 which 10 examples were built .The BMW engine were used on Ju88G1. The Ju88H-2and H-4 were Ju88G6`s with the body extended to make them theJu88G 10.. Willi
  10. Thanks, This was a fun build. I wish WNW would do this in 1/32nd . The wood was done with different shades tans covered with HGW decals then sprayed with a 50/50 mix of clear yellow and orange with some shading of clear smoke. Willi
  11. I`m interested. I have the same on going project in1/48th .I would like to see some wip Willi
  12. I finished my contest build at Swanny`s Models .Com and here are a few photo`s . Thanks ,Willi
  13. I`ve been checking everyday hoping to snag three kits right away . Heard the release date was Nov 20th . Hope that is true . I want to see the kits before the world ends Dec 2012 .
  14. Hi fiedotow, Very nice build . I have the same kit with the Parts set . I will watch your build first with interest. Did Wojtec Fajga ever finish his all metal PZL P. 11c ? What happened to Wojtec I have not seen any posts from him in a very long time . I`m a big fan of his builds . Willi
  15. Hi Lou, After I made this post I PM ed Jan again .The last time was in May but still no response. I have a frozen Project a Fw190C V18 .I know with those rivets it will be much better looking A/C .Maybe if a hole lot of us builders will PM Jan that we all want those 190 sets I might get two of them soon . I like what you have done with your 190 Cockpit .Looks killer! Willi
  16. Thanks Lou , No way I`m going to rivet with a riveting wheel and put 10000 rivets on my 190. The HGW look 100% better !It is still on their web site .Maybe If I bugg them enough they may make me a few sets . Willi
  17. Where did you get the HGW rivets sets , I have tried for months to get some ,but either no one has them and I can`t find any one who sells them on-line .I even e-mailed HGW with no replies back ! Thanks , Willi
  18. You Can put those canopies on but they are still not as good as the HPH ones . I bought the HPH kit when I was at the IPMS national s in Orlando . First the HPH kit is Fantastic ,but was disapointed with the resin casting in the kit. Thats one reason I cast new ones instead of trying to order new ones ,the second reason was that I was going to replace the ones on the Revell kit . I can cast you the set If you want ,its no trouble to me . Plus I`m not to far away ! Willi
  19. I am going to start back on my Arado 196 as soon as I finish up my WWI project on Swannysmodels .com .In a week or so .Then I will be mounting the HPH Canopy on my Revell 196 . the canopies have cured for weeks now so should be nice and ready
  20. Yep I do the same stick poking the stub
  21. I use a pressure pot ,( Used for painting) you can get it in Home Depot. I use it to get the bubbles out of the RTV rubber and resin . I red line it to 60PSI ! works just as good as a vaccum pump just cheaper .the Alumilite gives you plenty of time 6-8 min . before you pour the resin heat the mold not the resin ! in the microwave for 90sec it helps .. Also dont be in a hurry to pull the pieces out of the mold to soon . the clear resin cures slowly and takes awhile to harden .It took me a few trys till I got it right ! Here`s a small glass I cast for my 1/48 th Lloyd C.V which I scratchbuilt Willi
  22. If you can you can cast your own . I did it with the HPH kit I got . I also went that root with ordering extra clear parts from Revell .After removing the tabs it still did not look right .The Future helps alittle but still some of the tabs can be seen .Besides the back part of the Revel canopy is not right shape anyway . If you look at my post on my Arado 196. I hope this helps .I you need more info PM me Willi
  23. Thanks for your comments. but this project is on hold til I finish my WW1 entry on Swanny`s .this is what I have done on that project so far I know it`s only 1/48th but will be doing a WNW LVG soon ! Willi
  24. Hi Shep, That compass in the rear looks to be a direction finder like the one on the Stuka G If I am right . The fuel tanks I got a drawing from the book and it looks like the fuel lines go inside the struts.
