  1. I was waiting for them but decided to build the kit and mask the kit in a manner similar to the decals he is working on I just got tired of waiting. http://forum.largescaleplanes.com/index.php?showtopic=38429
  2. Thanks finding a place to take pictures is hard and we still had the table setup from the Superbowl party so now you can see the scale compared to the red hot peppers
  3. Thanks Now back to 1/48 for a Mig21 SMT then I will start my 1/32 Bf109 T conversion
  4. The other aircraft is the Hasegawa 1/32 Jack which I finished at the same time. I originally was going to use the Pheon decals for this aircraft but since I got tired of waiting I decided to mask the markings instead. The Jack has all the markings masked and painted , A first for me but I like the end result.
  5. Finished
  6. Finished
  7. I got it and the engine when they first came out, haven't used them yet but planning on it soon. I will be using them with my Ally Cat Bf109 T conversion
  8. Yes now hes building his own http://forum.largescaleplanes.com/index.php?showtopic=38189
  9. Looking very nice, It's a great kit unfortunately mine met my then 2 year old soon after it was finished and he finished it for me. Looking forward to seeing the final product, Have fun
  10. Finally some updates
  11. Thanks It's going so well I wonder where the disaster will happen, I've started 3 other WNW kits and each has suffered disaster mostly at the hands of an ultra curious 2 year old so I'm hoping this one actually gets finished. Fingers crossed.
  12. The tunnel fit well just a bit of work getting everything lined up when you put the fuselage halves together. Biggest problem I had was getting the gun to fit with the ammo drum on. Without the ammo drum it fits fine with it's a bit tight.
  13. Looks good what type of wire did you use on the engines?
  14. some more progress
  15. Here are some more progress shots. I planning on doing the LVG version with the white herring bone pattern all masked off and painted.
  16. Possibly I don't get a chance to check the forums alot during the day.
  17. Unfortunately I have not been able to get the Windsock publication yet, I hope to before I finish
  18. Here is my in progress Raiden with all markings painted rather than dither with decals
  19. Wingnut Wings Bomber so far has been a great build everything fits great, Instructions have a few parts missed or wrongly labeled.
  20. Desert yellow, Tamiya acrylic. It's the closest I've found for the right color though I've seen a few people talking about the Blue also being used. This color was used in the Model Art KI 61 book I have been using as a reference. Now onto the flaps.
  21. more pics
  22. Been working on the Alley cat KI 61 II conversion here is my progress, also have the eduard Big ed set
  23. I'll try and get some more pictures taken. Usually with little feet and hands it's night before these come out. My 2 year old has had a field day with several of my other kits already. He makes them really fly. The resin is pretty good, Wing tips needed some clean up but overall I was impressed. The Vacuform was a bit more of a problem getting to fit right. Both the belly and the rear spine are vacu parts. Once the belly was installed I had a heck of a time getting the cockpit to line up right. Plenty of putty was used on these seams but now it's hard to see where plastic ends and vacu starts. Thanks
  24. Finally finished of the 1/32 JU88 A-1 converting it to a G-6 using the AIMS conversion set. Never worked with Vacuform before, the set replaces the belly and 60% of the spine with Vacuform, The resin parts are great but the instructions leave alot of questions and are not very clear. Overall I think it turned out ok now bring on the 188.
