  1. Hi Guys Just an update to say that the new 1/32 scale release is now available, the Ki-61-II Kai 'Tony' Conversion You can see all the details at A2Zee Models Even though this is the BIG MODELS forum you may even like some of the other small scale new releases as well. cheers Ali
  2. Hi All Just a quick update, after many delays due to all the delivery problems in the UK recently we have just received new stocks of the above ranges. The Montex range has some really great new releases if you would like some move fast as they have already started selling via pre-orders, should you miss out let me know and I will order whatever you would like in 2011. Also a few Yak-1 and HS-123 Montex models available. All available at A2Zee Models cheers Ali
  3. Just a small update. Having not being happy with the colour blue used for the decals (roundels etc.) I ellected to get the decals re-printed, at some cost but definately worth it. All the customers that purchased the kit have been sent the corrected decals, so that is all sorted. So the kit is now a really top class offering and i am sure that we will now see some more of these built. Even better news is that I have now released the decals and the upgraded metal parts as an UPGRADE set for the original Montex kit, so that gives no excuse for you guys that have the kit in your stash. A2Zee Models cheers Ali

Hi Guys The waiting is now over these set are available now from A2Zee Models The Mk XVI conversion set retails at £29.00 and the 'E' wing set retails at £9.00 Here are some pictures Bubble top set 'E' wing set, note the parts are identical for the wings in the two sets, so these are some common pictures cheers Ali
  7. Well, I would welcome any details that you can get as well, even better if you could email them to me at a2zeemodels@aol.com cheers Ali
  8. Ok Spitfire boys, thank you for all the interest, I will put a post on here as soon as the MkXVI and the 'e' wing sets become available, as the date is not cast in stone yet, we are just putting the finishing touches to the sets doing the instructions getting some stock together. All being well the 1st of October sounds like a good day to aim for, but DO NOT STRING ME UP if it is a little later. I have seen some of the other suggestions and ideas for Spitfire conversions and sets and I have already considered 1 or 2 and have done a fair bit of research on the one type, and will consider more. I am not saying more than that at this stage and too be honest any other sets will have to wait till 2011 as (Phil) being my right hand man and main pattern maker and myself have our time table full with other projects that will hopfully make (Telford) the UK Nationals. Not all the items are or will be large scale or even aircraft, but I do have quite a few other projects in line for 1/32 next year conversions and kits. We have quite far advanced plans for two other complete 1/32 scale kits with 2-3 others in high priority positions as well, and most of these will be brand new patterns and thus far subjects that have not been done before. Mostly British subjects, ranging from 1914 - almost current, but ther could be the odd German and Japanese thrown in for good measure. So best is keep watching A2Zee Models or LSP I am off to work again, catch you later Ali
  9. Hi Nick Ok as follows AP A, TE 215 is of 130 sqn as per profile referance Modelmania 5 Supermarine Spitfire IX- XVI by AJ Pressthis is quoted as a MK IX, no date is given 4D V, TB 675 is found in the SAMI Spitfire book and was covered by CMR in their 1/72 scale kit, this is of 74 sqn and reported date is around April 45, SAMI quote the base as Drope. I also have a photgraph supplied to me by a friend but as I do not know whose picture it is or have permission to display this I cannot do so publically. AE Q, no serial, well cannot see it on picture, this info passed on as the previous one and copied from a book or mag, very clear picture and there is a side profile shown as per our profile, quoted as 402 sqn, and at Fassberg June 45. So all that does it for me, sorry I have no more specific's but the two pictures tell me a thousand words, other than the date and base etc. cheers Ali
  10. Hi Guys well looks like I have answered the questions and the interest is there so that is good. Nick I will do the barrels in resin, I see that MASTER have the brass ones and they are super and I may even use some of those for some of my builds as well, but to keep prices down and logistics to the best I think resin will be prefered (practical) by a lot of modellers and all will be in ONE box, should some have or want to splash even more cash then MASTER barrels are ideal, trust that this is the right decission. Rui, I will consider the VII and have more ideas in mind as well, just time that runs away from us, also if the sets sell well, it is inspirational for us to do more variants, so the MK XVI is a partila indicator. Brad, no problem as long as we get all the answers sorted, and keep you guys interested. cheers Ali
  11. Hi Guys Thanks to Kagmusha for posting this, but I have been left a little behind. Ok sorry I am a little behind on getting bits and pieces up on the forums, we are just so busy geeting all sorts of projects ready, some of which do not fit into the LSP side, such as armour and some smaller scale items/kits. Right as for the Spitfire Mk XVI, the correct gun barrels will be included so do not worry as are the bulges for the wings and the inner wheel bay roofs are also modified, and the good thing is there is NO cutting in this conversion. The canopy was not very clear as that is work in progress one but do not worry the canopies will be as clear as the Ki-100 ones no problem there. Montex masks will also be provided for the canopies as well, so we are just waiting ofr masks, finalizing the bubble canopy and completeing the gun barrels. It gets even better, we will also sell the 'e' wing update as a mini set that way you can also do a high back Spitfire Mk IX with and 'e' wing. So ther you go guys be patient and all will roll along in the next week or two. Hope this clears up this lot of questions. cheers Ali
  12. Hi All These are only a few days away from release now so grab one now at the pre-release price, to those that have ordered your kits will be mailed all being within next week. Doug I will post some pictures of the new white metal parts as soon as I get a good set from the casters, basically we have defined the location pegs and corrected the lengths a little, also the metal is 'softer' so this aid's in making small tweeks. cheers Ali
  13. Hi All I have just received new stocks for Montex Masks and SAC sets. Many on this forum may be unaware that I carry the entire range of both these product lines. Although I do try, it is impossible, to have all of them in stock all of the time, however orders are always welcome for out of stock items and will be sent as soon as they arrive. These are excellent mask sets and there qre quite a few new sets for the large scale aircraft where masks really come into there own. The Montex range now includes the KAM series in 1/48 and 1/32 scale and these include the MASTER turned brass gun barrels with the mask sets. See them all at A2Zee Models cheers Ali
  14. Hi Kev and Ray Thanks for the positive comment Kev, we do hope that the changes will make this into an excellent seller. Ray as far as upgrade sets go we may offer these in the future. The initial production run is a fairly limited run and we have ordered decals and white metal parts accordingly. It could also get complicated as the upgrades will be the white metal parts and two differnt sets of decals and instructions. Also I think that it would be understood that we would like to sell some complete kits for our initial outlay rather than just supplying upgrade sets. Once we have seen the demand and requests we will consider all options again. cheers Ali
  15. Hi Jim Cheers mate, check your email soon. Ali

  21. Hi all At long last the Sea Mosquito is now available, also available is the Swedish J.30 version, so I do hope that you like these two. I am sure the Sea Mossie will be a favorite and it is a very comprehensive kit. Resin parts and photo-etched parts are included for the conversion. Included is the unique nose radar and all the internal radar equipment, wing folds for both wings, new elevators, a Torpedo, RATOG packs, arrestor hook, new spinners and additional propellers to enable 4 bladed propellers to be assembled, new undercarriage struts (wire strengthened) and smaller radial ribbed tyres and other detail parts to make this unique version. Masks are supplied (by Montex) to enable one of two aircraft to be modelled, masks are supplied for the canopy (internal and external). Some of the kit decals are required to complete the markings. Available now at A2Zee Models cheers Ali
  22. Hi Guys Just a little note to say that I have some CR 32 kits available for immediate shipping, these are really cool kits and superbly cast, also includes a useful set of Photo-etched parts, and decals for 6 aircraft. Apology to mention small SCALE but I also have the 1/48 scale Hawker Woodcock from Silver Wings. A2Zee Models cheers Ali
  23. Hi All Here are a few pictures of a completed model, built by Phil Edwards the pattern maker. cheers Ali
  24. Hi Guys Just an update, for the two Mossie sets AC24002C NF Mk.XII and AC24003C XIII and NF Mk.XVII and XIX we have introduced some of the interior fit for the radar parts for this kit. We will be mailing these out to all those that have already purchased the kit sets free of charge, those that have not purchased them will get these automatically with each set purchased but we have increased the price ever so slightly to pay for the more detailed and comprehensive set. We do trust that you will like the added details. We are always looking to make our sets as accurate as possible, and trust that these additions will be good added value. Note that there are two viewing scopes provided, obviously only one will be used, and this will be clarified in the instructions. I would hasten to add that the actual nose cones and the interior radar fit on these aircraft almost varied from aircraft to aircraft and we have taken the stance to get it as accurate as possible, but obviously we cannot cover every unique set up. Please be patient as we will start sending the new parts in the next few days and hope that the air space ban over the UK clears soon. cheers Ali
