Sabre F-86
I am working on an old Hasegawa FW-190 which came with a short shot upper wing. The aileron is missing about a 3rd of its area. Having glued the upper and lower halves together and rebuilding the missing piece with epoxy, I had the problem of trying to duplicate the fabric sag between the framing. No file that will work, so I took a coffee stick and carved it to the curve needed. Then I glued a strip of 320 grit to it, and viola, it works just fine. A strip of masking tape on either side to cover the frame and guide the stick n there you go. Sabre
LSP_Matt
I occasionally use something similar actually. I use some dental mixing spatulas...they come in a variety of rectangular shapes..some with and some without pointed tips. I get these little double sided tape pads that are precut ( $2 for 100 of them). I stick it on the spatula face and use the cut up pieces of wet n dry. Good for really small things.
