Rob Colvin
Not my normal thing, but I was asked to spin up a display model of the E.D.F. Hood. She is not totally complete, but will have her done by this Saturday. The Kit price goes for $199.95 at.... http://ironshipwrights.com/AMP/Hood.html
ssculptor
What was this from, a TV Science Fiction show or a Sci-Fi Theater movie? It is 100% fiction, right? So a person is expected to pay $200 for a scale model kit of an imaginary spaceship or futuristic warship or whatever it is supposed to be? Well, if a person will pay that much to attend a sporting event where paid professional athletes perform for him, I guess this makes sense, too. As they say, "Whatever floats your boat." Stephen the bemused.
Rob Colvin
i do not work for the production company, I was only asked to build the kit. What i know about the show (where the scifi cruiser comes from)... There were 3 different pieces of the show running from the mid 70's to the early 80's. There has been a playstation game, and currently there is a live movie being filmed. It is completely fiction. On another note; i know people who have paid far more for a 32nd 410 (i know this because I have sold my 2). i will not go into the big 1/32 buccaneer.... which i will not sale.... and have been offered far more than the $200 listed. At any rate I guess it comes down to funds and what floats your boat. S! Rob Edited April 28, 2011 by Rob Colvin
