Erwin
Last step of the wood-build completed. Added the landinggear. Here you can see the incorrect space between the upperwing and fuselage before I added the dihedral to the lower wing.
Erwin
Hi all, When adding the underwings I didn't add the dihedral. The Nieuport only has dihedral on the lowerwing. But ofcourse you all knew that. This made the upperwing to lower 1,5 cm. This olso meant that the fuselagestruts didn't fit anymore. At first I rested in my mistake and made incorrect struts. But after looking at it for a week,it just didn't look right. So I made the decision to fix it. After some hard thinking,I came up with a simple sulution. I cut the lowerwing on the underside and added a piece of balsa in the space. This made the wings go up,and together went the whole upperwing and main struts. Just had to make new fuselagestruts and the problem was fixed. You can compare with the previous picture. BTW guys, I want to thank you all for not hurting my feelings in pointing out this HUGE mistake in the build. I know you all spoted it right away This is the correction
