Gaspatch turnbuckles question

Good day,

 

there are two material variants of gaspatch turnbuckles - resin and metal.

 

Any advices about the pros and cons of these? Which one is better to use?

I didn't realize they made resin buckles. I have had no problem using the metal albatross type buckles. The worry I would have with resin buckles is they would be more fragile than metal ones. And the metal ones look good to my eye. Gluing either type still requires CA glue, so there is no advantage from that standpoint for resin buckles. Purchase both types and see what works better? My guess is the metal ones are superior, but that is just a guess. Good luck!
