t.valdez Posted September 2, 2014 Share Posted September 2, 2014 Kits World has some early P-38 decals, the Kagero books have some great decals like "Miss Virginia", the biggest problem with the conversion is there is but one available from Grey Matter but it does not have the supercharger intake scoop that goes on the twin booms which replaces the larger pointy ended intake. Jerry Rutman created the original masters and he does make the right type of scoops as he made me a pair awhile back. The OOP Cutting Edge set does not have the scoops nor does it have the rear canopy needed for an F/G/early H variant. The book includes decals in 1/72, 148,and 1/32 scales with marking for six P-38L's in OD in all three scales. The ISBN:978-83-62878-88-8. Should make for some great looking planes.
