K5IKL
Just finished the old Revell 1/32 P-47D Razorback. A fun build to redo one I did many years ago. As we all know it is not up to the standards of the Hasegawa or Trumpeter 47's but hey it looks like a Razorback to me and I had fun. I kind of spruced up the cockpit by using the side panels and seat from the Avionix P-47 resin set and the IP decal from the Hasegawa kit. Replaced the wheels with Rutman resin tires. Rest of it is what came in the box. Cheers, Jerry Edited June 11, 2011 by K5IKL
DaneBramage
How did you negotiate the rivets? did you just sand them completely down? I have 3 of these old Revell p-47 and one P-38 and have been wondering what to do....

wedfactory
That was the kit I used to get back into this hobby about 4 years ago. I will say your looks MUCH better than mine did.
richter111
I love the old Revell kits, they have their issues, but they bring me back to being a kid again, and for that I will always have a spot in my heart for them! And yours look absolutely marvelous!

K5IKL
Good looking Jug. BTW how did you do the checkerboard?? decal or mask and paint ?? Thanks to all for the replies. The checkerboard and invasion stripes were the kit decals. Being as old as they were I was surprised that they even went on without some problems but none occurred. Guest Peterpools
Jerry Outstanding builds on two classics. Who says the oldies aren't worth doing? Great job! Peter
