gregv
hello all I have an old Airfix 1/24 Hurricane that I got 75% built back in the 80's, and I'd like to finish it up. The cockpit is a mess, but I can scratch most of what's missing, but what I am really after is a replacement for the kit leading-edge landing lights. They are very prominent and what I have looks just awful. Any thoughts? Should I track down some replacements from the Trumpeter kit, or ??? As well, what else is available in the aftermarket for this scale of Hurricane? Any info appreciated cheers greg v.

gregv
see if Airfix will send you a new set. Their customer service is outstanding Good idea, although I am still waiting to hear back from them from my December 6 request for Spitfire parts.... Perhaps I sent it to the wrong place? I did get a confirmation e-mail back from them, but haven't heard anything since. cheers greg v.

DrDave
I would cut a piece of cellophane from say a food wrapper. Need to be slightly thicker than cellophane maybe. Liquid poly it to the wing by capillary action. The parts are so thick they rather spoil the look of the Airfix kit.
