That looks awesome. I really like the two A-4s side by side.

That is beautiful!

Wheels and tires look awesome. I have been off of F-15s for 8 years now, and I never worked C/D models, but I'm pretty sure the Tread wasn't even spaced out on C model tires. It really doesn't matter though, they look awesome. Also, on an E model, there were two types of tires we used when I first started. The Goodyear tires had 3 grooves and the Michelin had 4. I think its all Michelin now, but I cant really speak for the Light Gray jets.

Thats the one. Im not sure about the white one. We always took that long leading edge piece off as one panel.

That is simply stunning!

Just remember that the small wrap around panel at the bottom leading edge of the vert shouldnt be engraved. That panel had a thick bead of sealant applied to the panel line everytime it was installed.

C models had 100s at the start of production. Eglin got screwed twice converting to 220s and then giving away their jets to other wings. Thanks Chek, Great discussion!
The C's Alway had the 220 engine form the start of production. The 100's of the A's were upgraded but the cost and the space problems in the engine bay led to the A's being retires in favor of the C's. Only the Israelis have spent the time and money to basically rebuild their A/B's as C/D's to take the upgraded engine and additional fuel capacity. Please keep in mind that on these types of discussions, I look at things as a historian and researcher, but I ma not a Mechanic, Chef, etc.
