  3. Hello! Just finished another romanian Bf109. I used the 1/32 Revell kit + Eduard Interior and some quickboost resins. The model is painted in RLM 76 and covered with RLM 74/75. I am very happy with the result, hope you will like it too.

I'm using super glue with activator for brass, the control surfaces were fixed with Italeri's glue for plastic. It is not the best glue, but it is very easy to fix them again if they fall and without other major damages. All of them are handmade, I'm using drills from 0.5mm to 1.5mm, nail scissors and round files. Firstly I make one piece, after I check if fits ok I copy that piece. They are not perfect, but I don't know how to make PE.

The decals have a wrong colour, they have a yellow closer to a lemon and they should be closer to RLM04, so I painted the wingtips in a yellow close to the decals to not have a huge difference. In this picture you can see the difference between decal sheet from Radub's conversion set for IAR80 and decals from AZUR kit.

Hello! Last days I was worked slowly because I wasn't at home, but I applied the decals. I had small build-up problems with semi gloss varnish and I don't know exactly why, but it is not a total disaster. The kit decals doesn't have the corect yellow colour for crosses, but for me it is not a tragedy, the yellow should be closer RLM04 and I recommend Radub's decal sheet. Hope today I will have enough time to mount the flaps and ailerons.

    IAR 81C

Hello! Last days I worked at my project and now it is approaching to an end. Hope to finish this soon, cause it took me more than I exected. I struggled alot to glue the engine on fuselage and I managed to broke it once, I also have to repair the antena. Today I worked at undercarriege, I shortened the legs a little bit and I made new doors from brass because the plastic ones were ugly. Now I have to add the hoses to the wheels brakes and mount the flaps and ailerons.

Thanks for the nice welcome! For interior i used Agama RLM 76, but maybe RLM 76 Gunze is better. For IAR 81C be carefull to use this type of control stick, initially i used early type, but i had to change it.

Hello everyone! This is my first post on this forum and i want to present to you my latest work in progress. It's an IAR 81C kit from Azur, basically is out of box, but i've made some modifications to the kit using Radub's book, "Vanatorul", as reference. The first modifications i've made to the cockpit: -the seat has been build from scratch because the kit is wrong, as materials i used brass, styrene and the seat bottom is vacuformed from shrinkable plastic compared with the kit -also i've made a new floor and map case -on the cockpit sides i added some panels which are missing - and on the right side i figured the panel with some electric circuits
