  1. Decided to correct the engine magnetos. So I will keep this engine for my next D25 project. And will built a new engine by using Vector set with correct configuration for my D30 Now I am working on the wings and fuselage while waiting for vector s set
  2. Yes agreed, I have used same color for years in my previous 1/48 P-47 models http://www.ozkanturker.com/Galeri/galeriler.htm
  3. Uh.. This is a new information for me. Maybe using Hasegawa s P-47M would be better option for a D30. Because Quickboost set does not offers these magnetos seen in the picture you posted. So, using K3 and K4 parts from Hasegawa's P-47M kit with Quickboost front section (without using K5 part) is the correct configuration for D30, right? In these circumtances I have to live with this mistake. Noted for my next project. Thanks, very appreciated. By the way I would like to confirm that R 2800-59 engines used in D30 and D40 right? And my actual configuration is suitable for a D25 which is my next near future 1/32 P-47?
  4. Next step is the engine. In the beginning, I was planning to use Quickboost resin engine. But now I have decided to continue with a hybrid solution: Hasegawa s engine and front section of the Quickboost resin set. I cut the front part of Quickboost resin engine.
  5. I do not think that this is general rule Here are two differents examples from Lou Drendel s P-47 Walk Around and Bert Kinzey s P-47 Detail & scale.
  6. Cockpit ready for installation into the fuselage Next step will be the engine
  7. I have used decals for other markings. A glossy X22 coat applied.
  8. Some progress I have used Montex masks on the fuselage, underwing crosses and swastikas on the tail.
  9. Cockpit floor and some other parts are painted and weathered.
  10. Nothis will be finished as natural metal D30 with the markings of FT-L 44-20473 flown by Glenn T.Eaglestone from 353 rd FS in France. But Francis Gabreski D25 will be my next 1/32 P-47 project in the near future.
  11. Yes Adam, I heard this problem on the nose section. Hope I can solve it by a light surgery.
  12. The story starting from the cockpit as usual. Decided to use Aires set to modify Hasegawa s cockpit. Resin parts cleaned and now ready for painting.
  13. I am ready to start this. This will be my first P-47 in 1/32 scale after several Thunderbolts in 1/48
  14. Thanks Hubert And RLM 81 stripes as on my reference scheme .
