  1. Instead of Hasegawa seat, I have decided to use Barracudacast Spitfire Mk I-V Resin Seat with Backpad Parts are prepared and painted..
  2. I will add some details to the cockpit by using "Barracudacast cockpit upgrade set"
  3. And now the cockpit. I have used Eduard PE set for the instrument panel. Some wires added to upgrade details.
  4. As a result, I have already another cowling with all the engine suitable for early variants of Bubbletops as you can see in the earlier pages of this topic. So this will be used in my Gabreski s D-25 in the near future. Thanks for your comments.
  5. Thanks Kevin Later I will send you the pictures for the gallery after some more pictures taken
  6. No I haven t yet. I am planning to buy Eagle Cals set later.
  7. Thanks, As a matter of the fact , Eagleston s P-51D is in my bucketlist.
  8. Before starting to the cockpit I decided to modify the light under the wing.
  9. Some updates Gunsight and windscreen installed. Now very close to the finish line
  10. I am motivated well.. And ordered one with some after market parts
  11. Yes this will be finished as Mk.Va.. There are 3 major differences between MkI/II and V ( oil cooler, ailerons and wing armament if this is MkVb) No need to change wing armament because of the A wing. And most critical issue no need to modifiy oil cooler under the wing. (This has already Mk.V oil cooler.) In fact, Hasegawa s MkI and II oil cooler is not accurate. This is late style (Mk.V) oil cooler. So if you want to built a MkI or II you have to backdate this part. And finally Hasegawa s ailerons looks like more metal than the fabric.
  12. I bought this about eight or ten years ago from Great Models Webstore. Box still looks pretty young I thought this model had rested enough in my portfolio and decided to start
  13. I decided to modify fuselage raised details. I made them engraved by using scriber. I do not like to deal with such things but I had to do.
  14. This is NOT the old Hasegawa s kit with all raised panel lines. This is the revised edition including new wings with engraved panel lines. That is, this Spitfire is a hybrid kit with old and raised panel lines on the fuselage and engraved panel lines on the wings.
  15. Thanks God I made a test fitting of the windscreen before painting it There is a gap between fuselage and windscreen. This is bizarre. So ı decided to fix it by using some evergreen plastic. After some works it s painted and ready to be installed.
  16. I am starting to Hasegawa Mk.I/II revised edition which will be finished as Douglas Bader Mk.Va with rescribed fuselage Works. I will post some pictures WIP section soon. I am also hoping a fully revised Mk.I/II from Hasegawa.
