  1. Tereas, the 84G is looking pretty good at least you painted your interior the correct colour not like numty me and followed the incorect instructions and painted mine green what a plonker I am. keep up the good work. Regards Steve.

Thanks Teresa, I have to admit I am enjoying the build so far and thank god Paul noticed I'd followed the instructions and painted the wheel wells interior green and he kindly told me that it should be chromate yellow so I got these repainted before I did anything else, I'll get some more pictures taken so you can see the progress.   7. Hi folks, just thought I'd post a few pictures of the Revell Spitfire MK2 I've recently finished, got to admit folks it was a joy to build and for the money stunning value. The figures are the Masterbox set and I thought these were even better value at just under ten pounds and are beautifully sculpted. Do yourselves a favour everyone, go and treat yourselves you won't regret it. Regards Steve.

Noted you were doing an 84G, got one of these to build as well this one has a big ed set with it so I'm looking forward to that build. Got to tell you the fit of these kits are some of the best I've ever come across so I recon you'll really enjoy the build. Regards Steve.

  16. Hi Tim, got to be honest, the fit of the parts is superb everything goes exactly were it should you'll enjoy building this bird, the sub assemblies I've built so for have been a joy. Regards Steve.

  20. Your right mate and if it makes life easier I'm all for that as well. ModelClean seams to remove silcon from the parts witch is also a nightmare when it comes to paint. Steve.

  22. Hi Kev, model clean is available from Finescale Model World I would send you some but I'll have to check if I can send it to Australia,I'll find out and let you know. Got to admit I find it makes cleaning your model parts a lot easier. Steve.
  23. Hi Dutik, thankfully I don't you'se soap and water anymore I clean everything with FMW model clean it does the job very well and is easy to use. You just spray it on give it a brush over and blow it off or just let it air dry then you're ready for primer or this time adhesion promoter. Regards Steve.

Well folks, got down to some work on the F-84 building as many sub assembly's as possible and then on to primer but this time I'm going to try a new product to me it's an adhesion promoter which is a clear alcohol based product which you spray on everything and leave for 30 minutes and your ready to go with any type of primer or paint. By the way I have to congratulate Hobby Boss on their kit the fit of the parts is absolutely superb one of the best I've ever put together, well done Hobby Boss.
