  4. thanks guys for your comments, really apreciate yesterday I put gloss coats and did some work on bomb loader and chocks I was playing with chipping fluid from Ammo to create scratches on chocks, end even I tried lot of different brushes, toothbrush and toothpick, still not comfortable with that stuff need to practise more... and seat washed and ready for final coat of varnish thanks for looking jan

  6. thanks guys for your kind words yesterday I manage to put the seat together and create harnesses from HGW fabric from other kits I have still need to add some wirings and some subtle weathering thanks for looking jan
  7. so paint job done, ready for decals and weathering and some small repairs on surface and camo paints thanks for looking jan
  8. a small accident occurred was dryfitting prop and when I wanted to pull it out by force I tored out the front engine part with all wires, I fool... It was midnight so I spent 3 more hours to repair it... cut off front cowl, put new wiring, dlued together, sanded and apllied surfacer
  9. after 3 weeks of holiday I am back at the workbench. did paint job on Sandy in past days. For the first time I have used Mr. Paint stuff so here is my experience of not so skilled modeller: really easy to use, great mixture for airbrush and good fit to original colours IMO you can build up different shades easily with thin layers applied gradually. together with Gunze C paints, these are the paints of choice for me "0 cons: bad smell, on the level of surfacers, I did the all paint job outside wearing protective mask. And for somebody price could be show stopper. Have used 2/3 of bottle for light grey and 1/2 bottle of desert one. Overall the cost for camuflage of A-1 cost me up to 8€ some photos firstly I did some preshading for light grey and desert brown (darkened with black)... and build up camuflage... and some subtle postshading (added up to 5-10% white) thanks for looking jan
  10. engine completed used some dark and deep grey wash exhausts finished with rust pigments, at the end it looks to me quite rough and overdone, but it will be hidden now I need to play with cowling fit a little bit thanks for looking jan
  11. and bomb trailer from Verlinden thanks for looking jan
  12. I got all resin stuff for this project last week and started some work on it so here are some photos what you will get in box and I must mention the excellent service of Maurizio from Videoaviation, and his really great products - definitelly recommended! VIDEOAVIATION MJ1-A bomb loader early VIDEOAVIATION USAF wheel chocks VIDEOAVIATION USAF extinguishers jan
  13. thanks guys for your kind words! really appreciate managed to paint prop so far and did some work on engine, even I did not bother myself with super details because it will be invisible once closed. and drilled the exhausts... engine painted with GSI Super metallic SM1 and exhausts painted with Tamiya burnt metal I have added lead wires, but have used diamter 0.2mm, which looks pretty thin compared to pictures but will leave it at that definitely diameter 0.4mm was quite heavy IMO so probably the best way could be 0.3mm. this is how it looks like at the end not so much of it will be visible thanks for looking jan
  14. Great news Mirek! any estimated release date? will get both and what about Ventura? jan
  15. Did you think that A-1 is big enough? jan
  16. small update Sandy ordnance being prepared everything painted with GSI H`s thanks for looking jan

  20. After you choose shipping option Danny you can decide to pay by paypal or to enter billing address and card details but I didnt finish any order yet so cannot confirm if its working correctly jan
  21. This is quite weird Nicolas, because I can use paypal to pay, that is that stage when you realise what VAT should you pay
  22. Thanks Alan To answer your question Brian, I have used Gunze C351 Zinc Chromate Type 1 mixed with C364 Aircraft Gray Green (ratio 2:1 or 3:1) for this build you can get it in this set jan
  23. quite slow progress with this one cleaning parts, sanding and dry fitting of major parts...but honestly I really enjoy this kind of builds first layer of surfacer applied and Gunze RLM02 used for wheel wells and I was playing with Radu's rivet tool a little bit - its great. I was doing rivets for first time and realised that it was not such a challenge than I expected. lessons learned: If you poured a soap water in the sink - always use strainer - waste disposer ate 3 parts in past week but I have written to HPH already If I can get them extra was waiting for HPH Epoxy, but now I have it so will glue main parts together as a next step... thanks for looking jan
  24. small upadte overall fit is great, some minor fit issues with Aires cockpit but nothing significant thanks for looking jan
  25. no real surprise regarding prices... for EU customers it will be: kit price + VAT + shipping e.g. shipping to Slovakia is 24€ per kit + 20% VAT so I can get e.g. Sopwith Pup for 115€ or Postwar Dh.9a for 181€ so for me real increase is the shipping fee - 24€ per item (doesnt matter if its Felixtowe or Pup) and there is no possibility to combine shipping for multiple items but I don't mind, I will put my first order today
