  1. Hi Bails I have also just heard that some resin accessories and a new vac-hoo have been produced in France....bxy a company called Fabflight. You may want to check that out as well. Have fun - and welcome to the group Sinuhe
  2. Like most manufacturers - Hasegawa has only recently started producing new 1/32 scale kits: Bf 109 G/ K series and a Fw 190 D-9 series. These really are superb kits - and while lacking all the "bells & whistels" of sa ythe Tamiya 1/32 Zero, they are very afforadable - and a joy to build. I can heartily recommend these. Their older kits e.g the P-51, Hellcat, Spitfire, F-104, A-4, F-16 date back to the 70's and 80's - and while these were good kits for their time, they are starting to show their age. That said - they can still be made into superb models.
  3. There is a F-4B (ex F-4J) kit right here on LSP - check out the Jet Archive.
  4. I have heard this too, so good to see it confirmed - it will be great to have a replacement (in a decent scale) of the old 1/28 kit. Large scales are really booming at the moment...... with exotic things such as a 1/32 D-520!
  5. This conversion is not trivial - besides extending the cowling... the wings, filter etc are really totally different. In addition to the Airfix books mentioned, I can recommened the SAM modellers guide.
  6. No comparison - the Hase kit is over 20 odd years old - the Academy is a cutting edge modern kit - one of the best I have ever seen. Furthermore, the Hase represents a pre-production machine....
