Revell PV-1 Ventura 1/48 scale

I just fginished this one this is the new Revell Ventura Bomber a very delightfull and enjoyable kit to build. all parts fit like a glove there is no need for useing filler putty for the seams just wet sand them use plenty of water after you wet sand use brasso to remove the sctachs.. The only negative point of the kit is the octopus decal its knuckle biter and a hair puller so BEWARE secret is to use plenty of water makeing certain the fuselage is saturated with water so you can shift the decal around until formed. The kit gives you three versions to choose from two are navy along with the octopus decal, the third is the British Columbia included are the roundels. Perhaps some day Revell will release the RAF version of the Ventura 11. When I first built thisd kit i had no way of knowing that there are after market resin parts sets for this model. I built it staright from the box I am not choosey, If this kit was built for model shows I would use the after market resin sets and would have spent 8 months building her. But I am Happy Here is my Ventura.

Really nice work there KD. I really like the streaking effect on the final finish. I do want to buy and build one for myself.
