  1. Obscure question I suppose but ....did the pilot and the GIBS ware the same style shute . The seat bottom shape of the back seat seems to be "D" shape which leads me to think that the GIBS wore the butt pack, while the front seat looks as if it would work with a back pack shute. I ask this to settle in my mind whether or not the Master Box Luft fighter pilot figures will work with the He 219 ( future release figs ) Thanks, Chuck
  2. Hey guys, this may be old news but..... If you google wings on the web He 219 and then go down 4 spots to "new full size pictures online" you will find a wealth of photos of the 219 at the Garber facillity. I just finished a lengthly session of down loading photos. Hope this helps., Blessings, Chuck
  3. Man, Paul you are a Machinen ! How many have you got going at once ? My pace at the moment is zip per month ? I have promised that I will start again after the first of the year ( Oh wait, we will all be gone as of this Friday LOL) Well if we all wake up on the 22nd then I resolve to get back to modeling after Jan 1 2013 . I hope that I can get one done by the time that Evergreen rolls around , gives me a reason to go. Oh, I'm sorry to say but I'm the guy that bought the He 219 out from under you, but i'm sure that ET & H will get in at least 2 more as my friend Garland wants one as well as you. The 219 has captured my imagination at present and I'm following the thred closely to determine how much I'm going to do to mine. I think I'll redo the seats myself and try to jazz up the interiour, crank a few degrees of down into the wing (or not), load the landing gear and maybe a few more things. Thats's how it starts isn't it ? Then AMS klcks in and you find yourself trying to corect all the little "flaws'". Maybe we can find the time to get together after the 1st of the year. Oh, by the way, I live in Eugene now. We still have our place up river but our grandson lives in Eugene soooooooooooo ! here we are. Blessings, Chuck
  4. Hey Paul, yes I know what you mean about being " forced " into bying another kit,I resisted the scream'in deals at the swapmeet, but the very next day I was"forced" to buy the new Revell He 219 at Eugene Toy and Hobby. Now I,m going to be "forced" into buying a boat load of stuff to build a dio I have in mind ( figures ,ground support, ect ). Oh well, the more "stuff" in the stash the longer I have to stay alive to build them all. LOL Hope that Teresa "forced" you to buy at least one for her to build : as I remember she's a pretty good builder. I wish my wife was a builder ( wait, what am I saying ,she would mess up my studio bench ). I am working with her new found interest in shooting which is a good thing. Well, will try to make contact again . Are you plannig to go to Evergreen in Sept ? blessings, Chuck
  5. Hey Paul, I had to leave early Saturday in order to get to my gandson's birth day party. Will continue to look in on your builds. Did your girlfriend finish her 163 , looked like it was progressing nicely. Any way , will try to catch up with you at anoter time. Blessings, Chuck
