EmperorKai
John- if you follow this link to the Eduard instructions for the IL-2m3 interior set, you can see the upper armor plate and the 2 windows (parts M3 and M4). These are the 2 pieces that gave me a hard time while trying to glue this on the rear canopy. If you do it the way I did (not recommended), trim the edge of the glass pieces along the upper curved sides. A much better way, which didn't occur to me until a few minutes ago (tunnel vision) is to NOT use the kit pieces and replace them with clear acetate cut into the appropriate shape. This would mitigate the window issue entirely and net a much nicer result. You'll still have to be careful with how the bottom corners and the 2 tabs interact with the sides of the cockpit and the lower armor plate, depending on where you glue the braces and how everything sits. This is the main reason why checking these out and trimming early is the better way to go. I found that mine kept getting hung up on Eduard parts 62, 63, and 64. Hope this helps! and Thanks!
