Yeah, and I think that's basically what ZM tries to show on the shelf behind the pilot's seat.  You would need to scrape those off, drill holes, and replace them with wires that actually originated on the backs of the instruments (versus just sitting on the shelf not connected to anything, the way the kit has them).
