The USAF C 130H is from Operation Deep Freeze, in Antartica (flies in and out of Christchurch Airport)

The F4U-1 is actually an ex RNZAF FG-1D painted to look the part (all RNZAF FG-1D's were received brand new, in Glossy Sea Blue)

P 51D is in the colors of RNZAF Territorial Air Force (TAF( similar to Airforce Reserve)) set up post WWII. P 51's were to replace F4U's/FG-1's, but the war came to a close, so P 51's were put into storage being brought in to full service 1952 -55 before being struck off charge and the TAF disbanded

F111 and C17 are visitors from the RAAF in Australia

Regards

Alan
