Dana F
Gentlemen, I considering beginning construction on Trumpeter's 1/32 F4U-1D. I've found that the kit's cockpit has a floor which it should not have. At first, I don't seem to see an aftermarket cockpit specifc to the Trumpter kit, only the Revell. First of all, is there a kit out there for the Trumpter kit? If not, can one of the kits designed for the Revell kit work? Another option I guess would be to modify the kit's cockpit. Can this be done with accuracy? Thanks.

Smokinguns3
Yep anything is from what ive read at Cybermodeler the black box for the revel kit will work. So until GP comes out with one we have to settle for the black box for now.
Dana F
Well, I think based on some of the reviews I've read, I'm about to put this kit back in the stash. This seems to be another kit that needs a bit of work to build with the wings unfolded. I was digging thru the stash to find a fairly eaisy kit with not too many surprises. Guess this isn't it.
