Hi Roy, and Iain, Rich Myself and the boys had a great time just a shame we couldn't make the Sunday as I appear to have missed shed loads, but I do have a ZM Skyraider so thats ok then. Heres to next year.
Just as a matter of interest, how did the F3 fair in the vote? did it get any?

Iv'e also got a D model with Aires cockpit and wheel well kit, SAC undercarriage and Fancy Girls Decals.
Im delaying this build until I can free up some more shelf space but am really looking forward to it. The 105 is such a lovely aircraft. Notwithstanding the model, having been fortunate to see one up close, I didnt grasp just how big these were. Incredible.
-
Really nice build you got there. Dont see many A10's nowadays. Welcome to LSP.
-
Interesting release given im still waiting for an Intruder, Buccaneer and Jaguar. and typical that I have just used my flightpath set on the old old revell offering!
-
That build is outstanding. It stands up to scrutiny on every level. Every time I look back at the photos you have taken I find myself discovering another detail I missed the first time round.
That sir is incredible!

Stunning simply stunning. The execution of the oil staining and exhaust is fantastic.
I am really looking forward to getting my mitts on mine at Telford! I have however been told, I cannot buildit yet as ive got a few more to do ahead of it! Somehow think this is being held by swmbo as a bookmark in my stash!

Ok now I have serious Mahogany! really cant wait to get my sticky mitts on one of these at Telford!

Iv'e tried emailing Richard to register my interest. I'm after one of the Skyraiders but to date iv'e not had a reply.
I don't know if i'm being impatient but i'm afraid of missing the boat on this one. Anyone know of an alternative method of registering my desires???

O good grief! already planning an in flight dio with this one in USAF colours possibly. That looks superb!
-
That is a beautiful build . Simply outstanding!
-
Lovely work and very nicely executed. Well done.
-
That certainly looks like a Lightning to me! excellent job, and agreed, you could really go to the enth degree in achieving ultimate accuracy at an expense in terms of time cost and in some cases enjoyment.
I myself fall somewhere slap bang in the middle although oob, IMHO this kit looks great.
Well done.

That is top drawer stuff going on there me old china! really inspirational.
Ironically Iv'e just taken delivery of the 27 UB together with a set of Linden Hill decs and now this thing is winking at me from the stash! Indeed my single seater is beginning to look a little lonely now. Must resist... Got a couple of Phantoms to do beforehand!
Keep up the great work, That Eduard pe makes that cockpit something special. Looks like this is going to cost me money!

Thanks all for the positive replies.
The tanks are those provided in the Revell Tornado GR1 kit however Flightpath do a set of Hindenburger tanks here hope this helps
-
I, would definitely be in for one!

Hi Folks, Im aware that the build thread somewhat dried up, but tbh im not really sure how interested you guys would be in the building of Hindenburger tanks Aim 9's and stuff. Anyhow, she is now what I would call finished.
The First of my trio of 11 Sqdn machines, ZE 887.
This conversion was from the Revell ECM kit together with Mendert's resin conversion set and some of Paul Parkes decals for the fin.
I am going to be honest and state that this aircraft will not stand up to close scrutiny. There are areas of VERY dodgy paintwork where the acrylic and enamel paint has reacted slightly and i had no way of replicating the white walkway limit dotted lines, so i ended up hand painting them. Yep i know they are solid and a little thick but!
The Skyflash markings are made up as are the missiles themselves ,actually being Sparrows, but a little comparison at the cosford museum highlighted little difference other than a small fairing on the Skyflash's
One other area of confusion, Surely a 1/32 pilot is a 1/32 pilot no matter what kit they come from? these boys are from the Tamiya F15 Eagle and appear a little small aginst the seat, in fact the front seater appears to be a real "tarse". In addition space in the cockpit is so much of a premium, the front seater has had to have his legs taken off below the knee to fit under the control consol!
Anyhow, on with the show.
Next up 2x Phantom builds for the F4 GB over on Britmodeller
-
That is immaculate skill there Chris... Simply unbelievable! Congratulations
-
Now we start to get onto the nice bit! decals are slowly going on. HOWEVER, there are NO 1/32 low vis decals out there so (dont ask me how) I have had to produce my own.
The 11sqdn marks are from an Xtradecal sheet, the Eagles are from Meinderts F3 set very carefully sealed and cut to produce a close approxiamtion of the white background.
The XI serial numbers and year markings are done very nicely by Parkes 682 decals which came as a two part yellow on white set. Despite getting these into register the yellow still looked a little pale and in order to reduce the relevant thickness Ive hand painted Citadel Bubonic Brown onto the surface. As the markings are a "mish mash" of a creation they are in no way perfect, however Im happy with how it is going. EXCEPT, the black is an acrylic from a Halfords rattle can. great gloss and rapid drying, BUT it has reacted with the thin fillet of filler I used all along the base of the spine / tail rippling slightly. Bugger! At this point I lost a little potential to get this finished, but all over that now!
Anyhow a few shots of the intended display set up as a taster.
More next time

Looking very good Brian, looking very good!

My Good lady wife reckons you have "issues". "what would he want with eight Hunters? for of them, two of them!"
They just don't understand!
That is one unbelievable stash there, problem is, wher you going to put them when you get them all built?!
BTW is that a 1/35 Super Frelon I see? How big is that!
-
This keeps getting better and better. The attention to detail is second to none! Keep up the good work.
ZM Weapons kit

Hi Brian,
It is available and has been produced ( iv'e got one). I have a sneaking suspicion that ZM brought the last of the current batch over to Telford as you could purchase them without reservation, as opposed to the actual Skyraider which had to be reserved.
I know this isn't that helpful just to let you know that they are about and its likely a further batch is on its way.
Im after a figure set as they are outstanding works of art, but cant find them on the site either.
