  1. Does anyone make an aftermarket prop for the 1/32 Buffalo F2A-3? Or even an early Wildcat? I looked everywhere that I could think of yesterday with no luck.
  2. Yes, they are Fundekals! I will get you some photos.
  3. I decided at the last minute to take the 1/32 Corsair Mk II to one final show. Went to the 2019 SprueDoo in Little Rock, Arkansas this Saturday. Thought about not taking it, but decided to anyway. Glad I did!! I won a Gold, Best Aircraft and Best of Show Military! My first Best of Show! I was shocked and very honored!
  4. I won a Gold at the Tulsa HMSNEO show and 1st Place in 1/32 Prop and Best Aircraft at SoonerCon in Oklahoma City this past weekend! Super excited!! Never won a Best Aircraft award!
  5. Here is another pic of his aircraft.
  6. Not sure if it was standard, but it is the way that his aircraft was marked. I went with the info and photos provided with the Fundekals package. http://fundekals.com/corsair_RN.html
  7. Finished!! I am taking it to the HMSNEO show in Tulsa this weekend.
  8. It is from Dana Hall's book 'Aircraft Pictorial 8, F4U Corsair Vol. 2'
  9. Wingtips and the fuselage scoop intakes and exhaust. You have to research the aircraft that you want to build though. Some of the very early birdcage did not have clipped wings. There were also two different versions of the wing clip.
  10. They were painted in the US and used Gunship Gray (FS36118) and Olive Drab for the upper surfaces. I used Sky Type S for the underside.
  11. Thanks....I started out by asking how to questions at Bardwell's Hobby Shop (John Bardwell) back int the late 80's/early 90's!!
  12. Got it fixed. Hope they show up for everyone now.
  13. This is my first 1/32 aircraft. I have followed a lot of your builds on here....Bardwell, Wolfe, etc. Really great stuff. Here is my Tamiya F4U-1A that I am converting to a Mk. II. Markings will be from the Fundekals set, Sub Lt. Leslie Durno's aircraft.
  14. Salmon "pink" was on early -1 models (Birdcage and a few of the very early 1As). They switched to Yellow Zinc Chromate when they switched to the -1"A" version.
