  1. Yes they are still under-way - everything has been delayed by the illness and death of my wife last year. Consequently there has been a mass of catching up to do. Most of this year has just been restocking existing kits for Hannants together with some new stuff (RAF groound equipment for the V-bombers). Hope this explains things. Neil
  2. All our kits (aircraft and ground equipment) are available from Hannants of Lowestoft - http://www.hannants.co.uk
  3. Here is the CAD image for the Coleman - interior detail has still to be added. It seems that there were several versions with a generic name of Coleman, so we chose the one in the photos already posted.
  4. This is the drawing we have produced as a prelude to the CAD It looks as though there were two distinct variants; the early version as in our drawing, followed by another with a very different bonnet or hood. We will need to consider this in the design.
  5. We now have sufficient information for a Coleman MB-4 Tug and will post pictures later.
  6. Can anyone provide basic dimensions for the Coleman Tug? Length overall (excluding hitches), width, height, wheel overall diameter?
  7. No Guy, we do not put any reference photos into the instructions because we try to keep the cost of the kits as low as possible - we recommend modellers to di their own research. Before we launched the range we discussed it in depth with Hannants and were asked to keep the price as low as possible. Most people have access to the web and there is planty of material there. Regarding detail, we design in 1:72 to scale. In CAD you can zoom in to about 4000% magnification so you can put in the detail and it looks reasonable. The laser which cures teh resin has a diameter of 40 microns, and yes you do lose detail in 1:144. I hope this clarifies it a bit.
  8. We should have the masters for the D450 tractor next week. For interest I am posting a few pictures created during the manufacturing process: 1 - We design the model in the Catia CAD program, shown below: Pale grey parts are resin, dark grey is cast metal and yellow parts are etched brass. 2 - The master parts are created using stereo lithography (SLA), where a laser forms the parts in a tank of resin. These two pictures show two planned builds. The beauty of this method is that we can design the model once then produce masters in whatever scale is required. With the ground equipment we normally do it in 1:144, 1:72, 1:48 and 1:32. I will add some photos when the masters arrive.
  9. Dash 60 and Dash 95 are on the way. Neil Gaunt Aircraft In Miniature Ltd.
