  1. Fuel vent line is off the check list:
  2. A big "Thank you!" to Rajfu for helping me with the dimensions of the fuel gauge for the fuel tank, this is what I came up with, all it needs is the brace that fixed it to the radio rack. Also did a dry fit test of the radio equipment, looks suitably busy:
  3. Thanks! Unlike Sisyphus who has to start all over again once the boulder has reached the top, I will complete this, hopefully in a year or so.
  4. Grey pigment was used to enhance the 85- gal. fuel tank while waiting for the glue to cure on the fuselage frames that will be visible. Linden veneer was used on the frame behind the fuel tank to replicate the plywood bulkhead.
  5. Left cockpit wall done. The Carpet Monster has snatched the flap lever. A new one was made, just like the others, by heating copper wire to melting point, a bead forms at the end.
  6. Finally managed to do the Dynamotor unit and its rack
  7. Now that is a proper looking Mustang, Hats of to you, Sir!
  8. Throttle quadrant and some tiny levers: yellow is for the flaps, black is the carburetor air control, red with silver button is the bomb release, and the silver one being the throttle handle
  9. Thank you so much for the kind words, I find them encouraging. And yes, It would be AWESOME if we had a brand new, decent P-51B/C in 1:32nd or even better, 1:24th! Right now I am working on the left hand wall, the console has some tiny levers that need to be done.
  10. The P-51B-10 cockpit is starting to look busy, right wall being done with the exception of the blown canopy actuation mechanism.
  11. Thank you, you are too kind! Doing the right amount of weathering is something that I'm still learning.
  12. The seat has received its bronze green coating. The galvanized sheet weathering is not perfect, but will have to do.
  13. The Dynamotor is more or less done and this is the radio rack with everything test fitted in place. Can anyone PLEASE HELP me with a wiring diagram, been searching and searching but to no avail...
  14. The radio rack specific to the P-51 B's and C's that had the 85 gallon fuselage fuel tank is done:
  15. Tiny part: the identification lights control box with its four switches:
  16. The surface control locking gear that comes in front of the control column is a tiny but necessary part
  17. Thank you, it is decent enough. I wonder how visible it will be in the end.
  18. Thank you! The things to be done in the cockpit list is getting shorter: only the radio rack, canopy actuation mechanism and the locking gear for the control column remain to be done. Oh, and the gunsight, too!
  19. Thank you! The Aires parts were enhanced using decals from the P-51D cockpit stencils and placards from Barracuda Cals, while the Oxygen flow indicator comes from Airscales' USAAF WW2 Instrument Dials
  20. Instrument panel more or less done
  21. A 2.5 by 6 mm piece of paper was added to the Aires instrument panel. Six pieces of wire, rendering the various armament switches will be added later.
  22. The wing fuel gauges won't be that visible in the end, but at least are there...
