  1. I have been away from this group for years. In that time I moved back to my hometown of Dallas Texas. Not sure if I posted this before I dropped out, but I am sure someone did? I purchased the assets of Cobra Company some years ago now. I have all of the 1/32 sets up and running but the numerous 1/35 sets are still not completely molded. Some may never be. I have a box full of loose resin parts that I must sort through, comparing parts to part photos in the many instructions in order to know what they go to. I do have a few new 1/32 kits in the works and some large 1/48 kits too. All for now Mike
  2. This 1/35 scale set is now available once again you can find it listed under 1/35 Cobra Co. sets at www.lonestarmodels.com
  3. First I hope you all have a safe celebration this evening and a fantastic 2019. The Cobra Company/ LSM 1/35 UH-1B set is now available and listed on my site at WWW.LONESTARMODELS.COM
  4. Troy, Chris had made patterns for the 1/32 OH-58 too but did not finish them. I have them here and may try and finish that set. If any of you have interior info for a War time OH6 I could use it. I have managed to find some on the web but more is always helpful.
  5. Troy and others, Yes I plan to address the Revell OH6 kit. Also I am now casting the parts for the 1/35 UH-1B so after the holidays it will be listed at www.lonestarmodels.com Merry Christmas Mike
  6. Been away from this group a while. Of the close to 150 Cobra Company sets I am about half way to having all of them remolded and available once again. I have poste around ten sets on my sit in the past two weeks. . I will be re-releasing the 1/35 UH-1B conversion in a week or two. One of the reasons it was discontinued was the warpage problem with the main rotor blades. I am attempting to solve this. Thanks! Mike at LSMODELS@PDQ.NET PS, I will release the 1/32 5" 51 naval gun as used on Wake Island in the coming months
  7. due to many requests I have re-released the old 1/32 cockpit set. It can be used in the Revell or Trumpeter kits
  8. Sorry to have been absent from this group so much. A lot is going on here. First off I have hired someone to update/redesign my web site. Until this is done the editing feature is locked. I am unable to add any new products. Not really a big deal The re-do should be finished in 3 or 4 weeks and then go live. At first the site will be only 5 pages . This is temporary until I understand the new format and re populate a few more pages like the Cobra line. The 1/32 Cobra sets are one of the smaller categories and all are almost remolded and available again. The 1/48 ,1/72 and 1/35 will take longer. I have posted news on the front page that should be helpful to any of you in the EU. Aviation Megastore/Luchtvaart Hobby Shop in the Netherlands will be stocking both LSM and Cobra products soon. I also have a face book page , look for a photo at the top of a B-10 Mike
  9. Recently one of my local commission customers passed away. He was into large scale aircraft. I will have as much of his collection as I can bring with me in Omaha next week. Please come by and see me if you are there. If you have an ad from another vendor Brick and mortar or on line, bring it by and I will beat it. Also I have some 1/32 Husky detail sets with me. Hope to see you there, Mike
  10. there is a e-mail link on my site. I reply to all but it seems many never receive a reply. Don't know why. This may be why I get so many inquiries and never hear back either? What is posted on my page is pretty much all I have right now. After the IPMS Nationals there will be some re-release items posted. I have gotten more re-molded but decided not to post them yet. I am swamped trying to get ready for this event. I will have some of them with me in Omaha.
  11. Maybe not quite fitting into the theme of this site but a 1/48 Cletrac Tow vehicle will be released at the upcoming IPMS Nationals. It is all resin, no etched parts. The drive and return wheels are computer generated so no clean up on these very delicate parts.
  12. AH-1G pit and wings are being molded this weekend 3/11/17 will be available late next week. HTH, Mike
  13. what ever is listed on the Cobra page is all that I have. I will begin remaking molds this weekend but these two are not on the to do list for a while. Mike
  14. Coming back soon 1/32 Hawk Kaman H-43B Huskie detail set first of many!
  15. It will be a while before I have it all molded. There are 150 sets and some have a lot of parts.
  16. Yes I plan to bring what I can. I always seem to have way more stuff than I have room for but then that's part of the fun for you guys, looking through it all. See you there, Mike
  17. There has been a lot of talk on the web since Chris Miller announced the closing of Cobra Company. I wish to announce that I have secured the purchase of the assets of Cobra Company. The Cobra Company product line will be folded into that of Lone Star Models. There are approximately 150 different Cobra Company products. Much like those from Lone Star Models there are some that just never sell well. I plan to assess the viability of each and bring back the most popular sets first. There will be a special page on my site for these sets. They will have a LSM prefix to their Part number . Example LSMCC48001. It will take me a while to go through each set and get them back into production. Mike
  18. In the coming week I will be posting a large selection of Cobra Company sets. I have no idea at this time what is still available but they will be limited availability. I have set up a special page on my web site at LONESTAMODLS dot COM Check availability before ordering. Thanks, Mike
  19. YET! Not sure I posted this before and too lazy to go looking. I have not canned the 1/32 projects I may have mentioned. So in case you forgot ( like me?) here are some not so big but 1/32 kits in the works , when I get the time. 1/32 Tommy Morse S4C Ford Flivver Sperry Messenger Hansa Brandenberg W-20 Curtiss P-1D The 1/35 Antonov A-40 got finished. Mike
  20. Another escapee from the LSM shelf of doom. The Antonov A-40 was an attempt by the Soviets to put wings on a light tank in order to drop them behind German lines. One was built. You will need an RPM 1/35 T-60 Russian light tank for the base kit. You get resin flying surfaces and tail boom, plus decals. Should have/would have been out sooner had I not screwed the pooch on the wings. After wasting mold rubber making the molds and then building one, I did not like the way the wings looked so I totally remade them. I plan to have a few examples with me at the upcoming IPMS USA National Convention in Columbus. Mike
  21. For any of you wishing to be assured of one of these kits at the Nationals. I ask for payment up front. The MSRP is $35.00 I accept Pay Pal. Please include your name and any other contact info you wish to include. That way if you forget to come by and pick it up, I can contact you. I will have a Will Call box at my booth for any convention preorders. Please contact me via my e-mail addy at LSMODELS at PDQ dot NET Mike
  22. To be released at the upcoming IPMS National Convention in July. An AT-6 Hollywood Zero conversion for the Kittyhawk AT-6 kit. The set will include: New modified cowling, chin scoops, three blade prop and spinner, wing tips, rudder, aft fuselage top with head rest, tail hook, gear doors, forward fuselage top, AT6 instrument panel and seat, new Zero style canopy. Mike
  23. I have no distributor anywhere and only one small shop in the Chicago area. White Ensign did carry LSM products but the folded up a month or two ago. Approx 30 resin parts, no decals one clear part.
  24. 20% off everything but the 1/32 B-25 decals. Ends midnight Jan. 27th ( my birthday) Please read the full announcement on my front page. Mike
