Pascal
I want to convert a Revell small mouth intake into a big mouth intake. But I have some questions : The big one is 12 inches wider. But is this at the front end only ? I suppose that the area wheel the main wheelbay is located has remained unchained. So how far back is the intake wider ? Pascal
12 inches is 0.95 cm in scale 1/32. The widest point of the Revell intake is about 4.8 cm, the front of the intake is about 3.8 cm. So extending the front with about 4.5 mm could do the trick. This will make the side of the intake rather straight instead of tapered (I hope that's the correct term) towards the back, but I believe that's the case with a real big mouth intake. Can anybody confirm ?
