Adrian A.
Hi Guy's, Not much new to update other than I've been working on getting better pics with my old digital camera. I put a three light coats of Future on the Wildcat Over the past couple of days - I'll wait until Sat. to do a wash. I worked on putting together a photo booth tonight. I've tried a few (actually about 40) shots in it (including some of my older builds) just to see what effect I can get. The first pic is of the photo booth. Not enough lamps just yet but I went with what I had on hand for now. I'll add a few more as soon as I'm able to - gotta do a little at a time. But the extra lamps are definately needed as you'll see by the shadows. Adrian A.
Adrian A.
This next shot is of the engine. I'm trying to get a better, less blurry pic.
Adrian A.
This pic of the engine I've tried to enhance it a little in Nero Photo shop. It's getting better (I hope anyway ) but I'm still playing with the effects - I've had the program for a while but, being 'electronically challenged' according to my son, I've never really played with it to see what it could do. I've been reading over Jay's photo technique thread & thought I'd try a little to improve what I'm shooting (despite having a crappy camera). Still just a little blurry but I hope I'm on the right track anyway.
Adrian A.
I'd like to get a clearer shot of the engine but I think that's about the best my old camera can do. I'm going to try to lighten it up a little bit more over the next day or so - i'd like to get it lighter & clearer between the cylinders & such. This shot is of the 'cat after 3 coats of Future - just trying out the effects of the intermediate blue against the white in the new booth. I'm wondering if I should go with a different color in the booth background? I saw that Jay used a blue background, however, all I had tonight was the white. As always - any & all comments welcomed!
