  1. Drop dead gorgeous bird! Not sure what else to say but "WOW!". I have one of these with a tiny bit of work done to it, and was wondering your impressions of the cowl/fuse/wing joint. I have heard of others having difficulty with this area, how was it for you?

Again, well done- she's a beauty.

  2. Thanks Dave. I've browsed around that site a few times in the past, love looking at those relic photos. Great resource for correct colors!

Manny- OMG! That is some BEUUUUUTIFUL work! Thanks for the link, I'll be going back to your build many times during mine. Hope to see more of yours soon!

Kevin- LOL, actually my name is Frank, not Fred.

  3. I am entering this GB with a 1/32 Tamiya A6M5 Zero. This will be my first LSP after building 1/48 for years. I plan to build this one mostly OOB, with some extra bits added on the engine and cockpit with wire and styrene. This kit was given to me a few years ago from a friend who knew how badly I wanted one, and I am VERY excited to finally build it.

  4. Excellent work here! In the photos of the gear bay, some parts are light gray and some are white. Did you combine some parts from the Block 50 as well as the Thunderbird kit? I know that to build some blocks parts are needed from both kits. Keep up the good work, I'll be keeping an eye on this build.
