I've never seen one with pulse jets, but I have seen 262's fitted with the BMW jet engines, and a jet rocket combo with a rocket in the rear fuselage. There was a dual jet/ramjet proposed machine too. If there was one with pulse jets, surely they can only have been used for RATO as the engines wouldn't have had throttle control ( I don't think )
Cheers,

It's nice to see one of these being built. Don;t forget, I have one of these for sale.....it's the partwork version which takes a lot of the Hasegawa plastic parts and reproduces them in zinc alloy etc. If you are interested, see the For Sale forum on Europeanmodeller.com. I AM open to price negotiation. UK Only.
Great work with the build. Please keep us updated throughout!

I have the CMK tail and control surfaces set which is neat, as well as the Eduard BigEd set, covering the cockpit and wheel bays etc. I think I'll still buy the Aires cockpit a nd undercarriage sets though, and probably the gun bay.
Check out this topic: CLICK ME
and this one: CLICK ME
Hope that helps,

I bought 2 Matchbox Emils a few months ago for about £10 total. These came from the US, and postage to the UK was only about £4 as the kits are very lightweight. You can still get some bargains and sellers who sell worldwide.

Hi Matt,
Have you got some pics of the kit? I must admit I'm more of a Komet fan, but this looks interesting.

I've read some of the other posts which highlight probs members have had with canopy parts and broken parts, and it does seem VERY unfortunate these have happened. You're right....these resin kits cost the earth and you should expect satisfaction. Email the company and inform them you'll be keeping all members up to date in these forums with how the probs are resolved. Can only help...can't it?
The guys running MDC seem genuine and honest enough. Perhaps they are experiencing real production issues. Weird that they would send our parts which are so obviously questionable though...

I hope you can sort this out. I would stick with it and persevere, bearing in mind the move they have just undertaken. I would love the Ar-234 and would hope I don't have any of these issues. Let us know how you go.

Yes, and now that our expectations have been raised, I think it's quite reasonable for us to look for a Heinkel 111 next.

...right ?
...that seems reasonable to me.
Yes please! And a Do-17.
Actually, I'd kill for a Ju 188 too!

Certainly nothing to complain about here, whether the kits are new kits of popular airplanes, or of new subjects like the Ju-88. I think we are all being spoiled at the moment with the new kit releases. As the saying goes: 'it's all good'!

NOW; Anyone going to release a Do-17 in 1/32

I never recieved the verification mail too. Tried a couple of times.

Thanks for the photos Klaus. True inspiration for when I begin my build. Still a few more AM parts to buy yet, and a whole load of lead ballast too!
All the best,
Jim
