  1. Thanks guys. Kevin, I had to send you two e-mails as the attached pictures would not go thru when sent together. I may try to do a better job with the scan this weekend. I was in a hurry when I did this. The actual box is in fair to rough condition. On one end the top is separated from the sides and most of the edges between the top and the sides is pretty worn. To be honest, when I got the kit, it was with the sole intention of building it and I really did not care what shape the box was in. This kit brings back special memories for me. In the sixties, my dad was the product support rep for Douglas on the C-118's with the Navy. He drove around the country to all the Naval air stations. I was amazed that there was a naval air station in Olathe, Kansas, lol. Anyway, the guys flying out of Alemeda would bring back all kinds of neat stuff from the far east. We had two car stereo cassette decks before commercial cassettes were available in the US, lol . I got the A-1 as a present and thought it was the greatest thing invented. Everything moved and the wings folded like real navy planes. You can knock Trumpeter, but I still like that feature(s). Shaun
  2. Howdy I have been meaning to join for a while so that I could contribute a picture of the Revell boxscale A-1 boxtop. I finally took the plunge though because I want the corrected F4U cowling, lol. Anyway, I have attached the picture, I hope. The box art was scanned in, so I had to join two halves to get the complete picture. They are a little off. I have both halves in a much higher resolution if needed. Shaun
