The model does look a little 'PUDGEY' as compared to the actual article...the top air scoop needs to be moved forward on the model...the models tail shoud be lower (longer nose gear..?), that would take "some" of the slant out of the gear doors but they still look like they would need to be reshaped...and the nose looks a little short as well...
my 2 cents...

hi there...here is an update on the progress made on the "Vulgarian" Comic Ni-11. This started out as a Revell kit that I originally put togeather in 1981. It laid in peices for the past few years and is being redone as part of this GB. Thank's to inspiration from Steve, this will be a depiction of a Vulgarian Ni-11 complete with historical context. I have changed the basic color to a purpleish maroon with german style lozenge camo. S/B mg's(alum. tube/w Adams 50 cal receiver) w/ammo (tape & brass wire), kit bashed tail skid (orig. a FROG a/c display stand segment), a genuine FORD engine plate, and plan to add some rigging. As you will notice one of the lower wings snapped off during decal appliction and will have to be reattached. The interplane V struts also need to be added as will the two megaphone exhaust pipes...

As far as the 'no-step' admonition...a nice coat of Future wax helps with those black heel marks...
BTW, your F-18 looks super w or w/o thye heel marks...

Ah yes, the Marx Bros movie DUCK SOUP where Groucho Marx is Rufus T. Firefly and is named president/dictator of bankrupt Freedonia and declares war on neighboring Sylvania over the love of wealthy Mrs. Teasdale (Margaret Dumont).
The funniest movies ever made!
Let's not forget the musical numbers by Cab Calloway { HEDI HEIDI HEIDI HEIDIE HO..!! }... who later did a cameo in the Blues Bro's movie... , that also was too cool...

Interesting question....I'm certain that the Vulgarian airforce utilized such autogyro's....which of course would make a cool model...I'm thinking William's Brothers kit (1/48)....
Hail Freedonia another little known country....
