  1. With all of this re-newed interest in Rif Raaf and his spitsfire perhaps we sould have a squadron reunion at some airfield to be named later.....Perhaps even Verner Moldy will fly in in der Messaschitzel.....ya, could hoppen!!!!

  2. Texas, the top colors you mentioned would be right, the bottom however could be a number of options...gray, green or blue depending on the period or mark of Spit. When I did my Rif Raf spit I portrayed an early 1940 scheme of alum.white and flat black half/half...on the bottom surfaces...I think the blue you mentioned would look swell..

  3. ALL HAIL VULGARIA..!

The comic Revell Ni-11 is complete. This rebuild depicts a Ni-11 in Vulgarian service... The modifications to the kit include: s/b cowl M.G.'s(w/ammo), s/b tail skid (orig. kit was w/o one), rigging added, lozenge camo, scrounged unit marking and FORD engine plate logo, blued/discolored exhaust pipes and official Vulgarian national markings from the "House of Auslander".

This markings on this specific a/c are those of Sqd. Commander, Baron Momsee Von Shtupp.. The Unit was the Special Fiducialy Corps ( S.F.C.) which was populated entirely by Vulgarian Gypsies. Originally equipped with Ni-11's this unit eventually was re-equipped with the Ni-17.

Sqd. Commander Von Shtupp's a/c also was fitted with the "sky hook" located immediately behind the cockpit). This hook was for attaching the plane to the belly of the Vulgarian Zeppelin V-101X. (for point defense or long range intruder missions). As the Vulgarian Zeppelin was lost before the adapted Ni'11's could be deployed, the effectiveness of this weapons system can only be surmised.

I hope you-all enjoy the Baron's ride as much as I did In bringing a Vulgarian legend to life... <_<

  4. I drop my pants and take a dump on Dragon for bringing out the 1/32 P-51 and the Me-110

I drop my pants and take a dump on Hasegawa for bringing out the 1/32 P-40E. Although I will admit it is refreshing to see them bringing out a plane that was not a WW2 German crate. I didn't know they had it in them.

Being some what of a visual...this  is too much...

    Rock on Sir Stephen... :P

  5. I would start with the black, overall. Then do the grey over the black. I'm assuming the instruments have raised detail...lightly add color to the raised detail using something like a dry bushing technique or you can use a fine point paint marker....for clear lenses you could add a drop of Future wax. Knobs, switches cna be highligted with appropriate colors using a toothpick point as the applicator....

    HTH...

    Cheers,
