    My contribution to the incomplete build GB will be the 109 Eggish comic a/c as issued by Revell originally in the 1970's. I had hopped to get this one done for the earlier Revell GB so this is another opportunity to do so. Once completed I plan to display the 109 along side of the Spitsfire of the same series/vintage.

    A6M3-Mod32 from A6M3-Mod 22

    Yikes, my 2nd completion in on month..! This a/c started as a prepainted (some assembly required) A6m3-Mod22 out of the box. The markings supplied appear to be of an a/c of the Tinan Fighter Group (1st), Buna 1942-43. V-187; Interestingly, the Tamiya kit MA-125 1/48, A6M3 Hamp has markings and diagram for a/c V-190 of the same unit....So I clipped the wings, added some long barrel cannons, brake linnes, exhaust pipes,cockpit headrest(missing in the kit), antenna wire, and some additonal minor detailing....

     

    Yes, I know that the Hamp wingspan was almost the same as the earlier Mod22 just squared off, and that installing the later mod wing armament may be a stretch but I think it's an interesting short wing zero anyway... B)

    1 32 IJA ME-262

    Well, this what-if build is done, a IJA Me-262A in test mode, kit is a reworked 21st Cent. 1/32 item with J.Rutman resin replacement wheels, brake lines added w/wire. Decals from the decal stash..markings on tail are from an old micro-scale aftermarket sheet....

    1/18th F-86F-30 Fighter-Bomber

    I was tempted to pick up one of these 21st Cent 1/18 F-86's at our local Wal-Mart today...only $ 39.99. It was in USAF korean markings..of course they had Mig-15's and F-104's as well..!! not to mention the Bf-109G6 in 1/18 as well...where to display all of these..?? :rolleyes:
