1/32 Tamiya F-4J Intakes installed and talk about a pain in the ass . I thought about resin intakes but not good with them at all. And even if I decided to do putty work on kit intakes it would have been a night mare . Next to get burner section done ! Brian

Cockpit completed this morning. Now to start painting the interior of the airframe cockpit are and burner cans . Still plenty more to do Brian

Cockpit wash and flat coat complete . Started dry brushing. Still more details to finish. Plane on having the cockpit finished sometime tomorrow Brian

Yes Bill I will be building this OOB. Only thing aftermarket I might buy is some canopy mask. This is a really beautiful kit and excellent cockpit OOB Brian

While some paint dries on the cockpit i got weapons and inboard pylons complete. Time to get some primer on the weapons next Brian

Hello all and long time no see. I was on here three years ago and left. I left cause i had lost interest in a bunch of projects. So while at work i met a former Rio whom flew with the F-4 Sundowners and decided to start on the F-4J. Here is where i am at tonight. Not sure of markings yet Brian

Finally got the rest of the Mk.82's complete. Window frames painted and windows dipped in future. Not to mask and slap the windows on and get this beast painted. Cheers Brian

Well finally got the rest of combing and HUD complete and installed. All Side winders and Sparrows complete and ready for paint. Just a few parts to finish on the airframe and to finish painting ejection seat and this beast will be ready for window o be glue on and start the MASSIVE painting Cheers Brian

FOD covers are from quick boost. They required a little plastic to take up the gap when installed on . Final formation lights installed. Still need to figure out bomb load on center rack since no luck on finding SEA era CBU's. Getting close to being painted Cheers Brian

Well got the rest of the cockpit installed and formation lights glued on. Still a little more sanding clean up required and parts to be glued. Next fun is the fuel tanks and all the bombs Cheers Brian

Well got lots more done this weekend. Fun part was the exhaust nozzles which consisted of 78 parts for both . Now working on the sparrows and sidewinders . Next to be painted is ejection seat and coming Cheers Brian
