TRAGEDY!!! It so happened that part of my glazing disappeared. I searched all over the workshop and couldn't find it so I was left with no choice but to emboss myself with a speech part. The work in progress is.
-
The viewfinder is already in its new place, along with the customised viewfinder glass, a little more colour and it will be ready.
-
I would also like to have the P.24 in 32 and I hope they will release it together with the P.23 "Karas" and the P.37 "Łoś".

This is what the interior looks like before sealing. I looked at other accounts and fitted a load, the barrel ends were also cut off because they would get in the way when painting. Also there was a problem with the instrument panel, which I simply moved forward and the problem was over. Just when I thought I had solved all the problems, I had to move the sight downwards, which I did, because the glass didn't fit. The interior is now complete.

There is still a bit of time left until Christmas and here IBG Models sent me a gift from me in the form of their new model of PZL P.24 B aircraft (72554) in Bulgarian paintings and the model came with 3D printed extras. And there are two kits dedicated to P.24 series aircraft: IBG 72U023 Radiators and Venturi Tube for PZL P.24A/B/C/E - 3d printed (1:72) and IBG 72U025 Pilot's seat with seatbelts for PZL P.24A/B/C/G - 3d printed (1:72). I would like to thank IBG Models for the supplied model and accessories. That's enough introduction now it's time to see what's inside. After opening it up, this is what it looks like inside. All the mouldings. Two plates and a film. Decal sheet and what I found very interesting is the lettering ( number 26 ) on the tyres! A revelation for me. There are three camouflage variants to choose from, I haven't chosen which one I will build yet. And as you can see there is also an invitation to "Babaryba 2024" it is the biggest and best modelling event in Poland. A complete novelty of IBG Models company, that is their 3D printed add-ons and here they are dedicated to PZL P.24 family of aircraft. All in all, we have a very interesting version of the P.24 in uncommon paintings with very interesting additions. I still have to look at the source materials to see what more can be squeezed out of this model. There is nothing left for me to do but to invite you to continue this workshop thread. I would like to thank IBG Models for the supplied model and accessories.

Work continues, such detailing done and so little will be visible when the hull is closed but it has to be done.
-
This now adds to the fun of fitting parts and will be added to the painting in a moment. For now, everything is ready for the primer to be laid.

While trying to put the fuselage together I noticed such an empty space and in the pictures of the plane it is built up there. So I decided to build it up too. And this is how it came out for me.
-
And it was supposed to be straight out of the box, but how does it go? As I always do, I have to correct something because otherwise I don't think I can build the model anymore. Now back to the model, you can see the improvements in the photos. I've looked at a couple of build reports and a little bit of pictures of the originals . But this is not the end of the improvements in the cabin.
-
I've checked on Kits World before and it's not there, and I want to do the B in the paint job of the compatriots who fought on it during WWII while serving in the US Army.
-
The "B" version is also in my plans and I already have a paint job selected for it and all black. So far I only have one photo and no one is doing decals. I only have the emblem and nothing else for now. But when I get around to it then I will look for the rest of the data.
-
The interior of the cabin, however, went for valorisation, missing parts were added and some were changed to new parts. The wires made of wire are finer than those cast on the model. I also added handles in the rear cabin. The fuselage sides are almost done, now the rest of the cabin interior. You can see everything in the photos.

After my long absence I'm back with another workshop thread, this time I have a Northrop P-61A "Black Widow" from GWH and in 1:48 scale. The model straight out of the box I think, because I don't plan any additions to it. Unless something goes wrong. The model is familiar so I won't be taking photos of all the frames and will limit myself to just these photos. There are two camouflage paints, an all black Burma aircraft and a European theatre of operations grey/olive with invasion stripes and this is what I will be building. So much for the introduction.

And managed to finish another model, the last workshop photo showing the Heinkel He-112 B-0 model flown by Pilot Cpt. Isaac Arroniz Larios, 1942, Nador, Spain. In summary this LF Models model was built without any problems, the masks for the cockpit cover as well as the camouflage fitted perfectly. It was necessary to glue the protruding parts of the mask with Tamiya tape, but this is normal. The 3D parts fit very well and made the work easier, but if you prefer to scratch around, you can skip the purchase. Disadvantages? There are two, and that's not really to say minuses. The first is the instrument panel, which is correct in the model, but I miss the clocks and have to do something myself. And the second is the pilot's belts and they are also not in the kit but they are from EDUARD. So these two things were missing for me to be completely happy with the construction of the Heinkal He-112. I invite you to the gallery.
-
Wheels put together and in the right colours, you can barely see but the tyre is not just black and in addition I marked the lettering on the tyre in white. If it goes well today the model will be finished. And tomorrow a gallery of the completed He-112 .
-
The mask was not included in the kit so I made one myself instead of using decals. And one more thing, masks removed and nothing to fix. It looks nice, I just need to put it together and I'll post pictures of how it came out.
-
So what's left is to take the masks off and see how they came out, and for now, after laying down the last of the RLM 61 camouflage colour, this is what the model looks like with the masks still on.
-
RLM 62 applied. And again the camouflage has been under the last camouflage colour. So far the masks are working, but in sensitive areas I am assisted by the irreplaceable TAMIYA tape.
-
The photo probably says it all, but the RLM63 colour has been applied and protected with masks. The control surfaces are only on the tape gripped. The masks only stick well to the flat surfaces and on the curves I additionally gave reinforcement from TAMIYA tape and where not I helped myself with it.
-
There is already a target colour on the bottom, for now the model is still in parts for easier painting. And the control surfaces will be pivoted because the manufacturer made them as separate and it saved me time to cut them out. That's it for today, I'm off to continue my training at work.
-
Hi Ray! Yes as much as possible you can post, it would be my pleasure.
-
I got the sanding and polishing done. I put the model together and the geometry too. Putting everything together managed to be done without putty. I've laid down the primer and that's the kind of marbling I'll do on it. I'm curious to see how I'm going to do with the masks, as the masks from them for another model were almost a failure, but I'm hoping that these are okay.
-
And here we are on the last day of the holiday and the model will be put together today, for now there is a fuselage and wings and a loose tailplane. I have gently drawn the joints of the model parts with liquid putty to even them out and shaded the trailing edges because they were too thick for me. But the fit is like LEGO bricks which makes me very happy. So there is nothing left to do but to polish it and put it together.
-
Chassis compartment assembled painted and waiting to be put together. The only thing I wondered about was the colour of the gun barrel cover, as in a few photos it was darker than the rest but in most it was the same colour as the recess. In the end the decision was made and I painted the whole thing RLM02. The super thing is the separated control surfaces, it brings the model very much to life.
-
This is how the interior of the cabin looks like, at it I also made the tailwheel compartment as well as the engine outlet. The pilot's belts are from the Eduard kit, and the clocks on the board are what I made from what I had on hand. I also looked in the documentation what the original looks like and that's what I suggested. And how it is put together you can already see in the pictures, I have no problems with it the parts fit.
