Again thanks all for the great info. I've got the Eduards PE for internal and external, the Contact Resine set, two of the CMK sets (the engine and the main gear area replacement), and a set of the Montex masks for it. It should be a fun build.

I've used 91% to wipe it down once applied to a model after drying--the alcohol worked very well. I've got a spray can of the 1000 that I'm going to use as a primer to cover some sanding scratches--once applied from the can is it a good idea to wet sand it to get a better surface or is the surface ready to finish sand?

Thanks for the look Mark.

Mark,
The intake sideplates look pretty good in the pics? Did you do a pattern or ? for those sideplates? If so can you show it on the forum? I've read your MIG article several times hoping that part 2 would show up!!!!!!
thx,

Matt,
Checkout Jerry Rutmans' detail sets for the kit. I have all of his resin for my bird and I think it will really add to the kit.

Jay,
The bird looks great--makes me want to get mine out and start to work.

Ben,
Just fit my first intake and with the wing in place the intake doesn't fit up against the fuselage. I think that like yours I'm going to have to sand some of the intake bottom off where it butts up against the wing to move the intake back flush against the fuselage side. Looks like once I sand that area down it should fit up against the side of the aircraft pretty good. Thanks for the info and confirmation on the tweaks needed for these parts.

Didn 't you do an article about installing the seamless suckers in your Tammy F-4? If so, where can I get a copy of it????

Chris,
Thanks for the great pics and the tip--what tip you might say??? The way you covered your tank just provided me with an idea on how to cover my 24th scale Hurricane tank and make it look more realistic.
thx,

It was a Mercury Capsule that was completely scratch built--it was incredibly detailed--not the Atomic City model. There was one of those right down the table from it.

I saw the display also--didn't realize the A-7 was that big!!!!

Thanks Mike,
That also adds a great deal of clarity as to how this harness works. Have two books on this bird in bound--looking forward to seeing some more detail of the cockpit area to help the build.
thx again,
Brian

Radub,
That's exactly the diagram I needed! Thx--that's one crazy affair!!!!!!

Radu,
Do you have a good seat reference pic that illustrates how the sutton harness attaches to the seat? I understand the shoulder harness and lap belts but my set of CE resin belts has a second "Y" belt that I'm not sure where it attaches??
thx,

Thanks for the pic,
