Besides my first models, one of my fondest memories of childhood is watching Neil Armstrong perform « one small step for man, but a giant leap for mankind ».

It’s good to see that these dreams are still vivid with some people, and especially with someone who also has the means to fulfill them.

Kudos to Elon Musk for the drive, and the out-of-the-box thinking of bringing the rocket back to Earth. Real Sci-fi in my books.

Footage of the booster landing from another angle worth looking at.

It's shared publicly,  so anyone should be able to see it regardless of Facebook membership or not.

[EDIT] Sound up for sonic booms!

I just think of those poor ET's that will pass it in space and think those stupid earthlings now have the technology to drive in space! Perhaps that will encourage a first contact?

As someone posted on YouTube:

Yeah, the Tesla is quick, but has a low top speed, and short range. Elon Musk: “Hold my beer!”

Impressive launch and rocket :punk:

Also a very impressive burying of Teslas biggest quarterly loss ever :wicked:

You didn't know about this? You see, the launch worked as expected, in every aspect.

Regards
