hi guys,
thanks for the nice comments

about the questions , the Kits-World decals comes without the insignia

those come from the kit (Trumpeter)
the one on the bottom of the wing is one I had to take from an old Hasegawa decal sheet (a left over)
and that one is really to light blue,

I am going to try to fix that and maybe add some additional weathering

Will keep you posted
Jan

Nice build. One minor nitpick if you'll allow me...it seems you've put Curtis Electric decals on a Hamilton Standard propeller.

The text will be the blade angle and drawing number info and should stay. However, the position of that information should be closer to the hub. I'll see if I can find some photos to illustrate what I'm talking about.

Great work on a very interesting scheme!  Looks almost Luftwaffe-ish.

Very nice! I agree about the insignia blue, but a good job nonetheless.

hi guys,

some new pictures, with the changes made thanks to your input

- darkened the insignia on the underside of the wing

- changed the markings on the propeller

- added weathering, mostly on the top side of the wing near the cockpit

So here we go with the Trumpeter P-47 finished part 2
