Hi Don,

How do you mask the spinners?:

Thanks for the support, guys!! The spinners were relatively easy to do. Painted the blue first, then masked off the bottom using a existing panel line for reference. I used this http://shop.maketar....ng-wheels-rims to mask off then using Tamiya flexi tape I set the width of the silver by doubling width as if I was masking the spinner. Used the Maketar tape to mask off the tip using the Tamiya tape as reference. Had to fill in with other tape for what was left and removed the Tamiya flex tape. Sprayed the silver, removed masks and was done.

Nearly complete....had to think about that. As far as parts count goes, there really isn't a lot left, could probably be done in a weekend of modelling and no interruptions. I find at this stage of a build things slow down due to what's left tends to be dealing with the "pretty" parts of a build, stuff that makes or breaks the build. I'm also thinking about the order to decal, paint turbos, gun barrels, canopy open/closed, belts to use on seat....probably be done in 2-3 weeks....if i'm lucky. Somehow managed to get the flu AGAIN for the second time this season, body aches are the worst I've ever had. Feels like I ran full speed into a brick wall, then the wall fell on me!! Everything hurts!!! This will slow down the build, too.

The decals are Cartograf, applied nicely and responded well to MicroSol. The blues don't match, shade is slightly off, can't go back now!!

Looks great Don.

Are you going to clear coat it or leave them as is?
