Easy paintjob. Still need to do the white rudder.

The red is a matt red with some satin red added to give it a soft shine.

I see they altered the ailerons from the original Revell ones (one early--one late) which whilst correct for some Triplanes was not typical---and most certainly not right for Voss' F1 or von Richtofen's DR1 as per the boxings over the years.

Now they have changed them to BOTH early ones---not right for von Richtofens either!!!

The obvious answer would have been to change them to both 'late' ailerons--that way anyone wanting early ones could have easily (in a few minutes with a file) made the alteration---now it would require building up the trailin edges.......

Odd!
